Where can I buy pre-melted chocolate for fountain?!

Question:

Where can I buy pre-melted chocolate for fountain?

I have a chocolate fountain, all the chocolate I have tried is either runny, or to thick. Does anyone know of a place that I can buy pre-melted chocolate.
I don't have time to order it. Any stores that would carry it.
B-day party for my 10 year old. Thank you

Answers:
Purchase 5 pounds worth of milk chocolate bars...not chips. Melt in a bowl over a little hot water on stove. Once melted add 3/4 cup vegetable or canola oil and whisk in (this prevents oxidation and thickening when exposed to your fountains heat element). Put chocolate in fountain and turn it on. You will have to "burp" your fountain...because the auger mechanism traps air which puts a strain on the moter and makes the flow bad. Do this by turning on and off the motor allowing a little time for the air bubbles to excape (burp..burp ...burp). If the chocolate is too thick you can add a little more oil to thin it.

Premelted products and chips are not a viable solution...you must use good chocolate. Premelted sauces are too thin or syrupy. And chips are formulated to maintian thier shape in a 350 degree oven. Good luck & enjoy the fountain...they are a lot of fun.

We also sell & ship belgium chocolate.

surf the net for callebaut and cacao barry-- they should have what you need.

Pre-melted? You should follow the fountain instructions. I have set up a lot of these fountains. The ones I use call for chocolate wafers that you purchase from a craft store. If you use other chocolate the wax (naturally occurring solidifies in the chocolate) will separate and cook (heat is how the fountain flows). Which will result in a stinking mass of burnt chocolate and a possible fire hazard. Good luck!

pre melted chocolate????????????/ follow the instructions, it tells you to add a little oil to it to give ordinary chocolate yhe right consistancy, chocolate only melts with heat, oh well it gave me a laugh
