Question regarding white wine?!

Question:

Question regarding white wine?

I'm not a fan of wine in general, and I just tried Sutter Home White Zinfandel and it tastes like vinegar. I'm looking for a white wine that doesn't have a vinegary flavor, maybe something sweet without an after taste. Any ideas and price per bottle?

Answers:
Yellow Tail affers a nice variety of white wines at decent prices. I highly suggest them. "Goats Do Roam" also tastes nice. Its flavor tends to taste more earthy. However, if you're looking for a more peppery flavor, I suggest "Ravenwood". All of these wines are pretty inexpensive, but they still retain a lot of fullness. I have had the Sutter Home White ZInfindel and liked it, however I did not find it to be vinagery, while it was a little tart. If you want something very sweet, go to a wine shop and ask about their desert wines, those come in all prices and flavors.

Twisted River is a great white wine..10.00$ a bottle..all stores have it.... Sweet in taste....

A nice German Qualitatswein is sweet (I don't know if that is how it's spelled). My favorite...a bubbly Italian white wine called Moscato D'Asti. $20. Somewhat sweet. Fantastico!

Shiraz Yellow Tail - it's an Aussie wine. Very nice.

Try Gallo Rhine.

It sounds like you might like a sweet white wine like Chateau St. Michelle's Reisling. (This wine is ~9 dollars a bottle and it is widely regarded as a very good Reisling from Washington State.)

Sutter Home does not taste good at all...I agree with you on that.

Yellow Tail Chardonnay is on the sweet side. It's $10, but depending on where you buy it.

Reislings are sweet, as are German whites.

The white zinfandel (actually pink) that I've drunk is quite sweet.

Perhaps the bottle you had was corked (bad)

cat pees on a muberry bush. best wine ever & its cheap

Go for an Australian or New Zealand wine. You really can't go wrong.
