Super Bowl party hosts: What are you serving?!

Question: Super Bowl party hosts: What are you serving!?
Answers:
I'll bring pizza and a six pack of Killians!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

So of course I'm making wings but I have the best sauce!. It's asked for a lot!. You mix 1 cup BBQ sauce of your choice, 1 cup hot sauce (Frank's usually), 1/2 cup honey, 1/4 cup minced garlic and 1/4 cup lime juice!. Marinate the wings in the sauce and cook at about 375* until done!. I go back in every once in a while and brush them with more

I'm also doing mini meatballs with dipping sauce!. I make these a day ahead and store in the refrigerator until game day!. Here's my recipe:!. 1lb ground beef
? cup onion (chopped)
2 cups soft breadcrumbs
2 eggs
2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
2 teaspoons salt
Mix the above ingrediants together very well!. Form meatballs with about 1-2 Tbsp of mixture!. You don't want them too big!. They should be one bite!. Bake in the oven at 350* on baking sheet until done!. About 30 minutes!. They don't have to be spaced apart as they won't stick together!.

For the sauce Mix (in a small sucepot):
1 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 ? cups pineapple juice (reserved from pineapple tidbits)
? cup white vinegar
1 ? tablespoon soy sauce
1 ? teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 (14 oz) can pineapple tidbits

Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer for about 8 minutes!. I put the sauce in a bowl in the center of a platter and put the meatballs around with toothpicks on the side!.

This dip is really good for crackers and thicker cut chips as well!. Guys usually love it!. I like to add more peppers because i like spice a lot!.

I took this appetizer to a friends house last Saturday and everyone really liked it- a lot!. Buffalo chicken Wing Dip it was nice knowin' ya!. This is the new It in town!. Go ahead and file this one because I think you will agree that this tastes just like the real Jalape?o Poppers!.

Jalape?o Popper Dip
2- 8 ounce packages cream cheese, room temp
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1- 4 ounce can chopped green chilies
1- 4 ounce can sliced jalape?os- double if you like heat

1 cup panko bread crumbs (they are right near the normal breadcrumbs, just look)
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 stick butter, melted
****You can just use a hand mixer if you don't have a food processor!. Mine had a malfunction so that's what I did!. By hand would be fine too, just make sure everything is chopped small****

In a food processor add the first 6 ingredients and process until smooth!. You do not need to drain either can of peppers!. Spread the dip into a greased 2 quart casserole!. In a bowl mix bread crumbs and the other 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese!. Pour melted butter over top crumb mixture and mix well!. Sprinkle crumb mixture evenly over the dip and bake in a 375° oven for about 20 minutes!. You want the top to get browned and the dip to be heated through and bubble gently on the edges!. Do not over heat this dish or the mayonnaise with separate and you will have a grease puddle in your dip!.

Another big hit and another thing I'm making is my Lazy version of Empanadas!. You will need:

Pillsbury Grand Biscuits in the can (buy as many as you need depending on how many people you are having!. one can has 8)
1 LB!. ground beef (this is enough for about two-3 cans of biscuits)
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
3 cloves minced garlic or 1 tbsp!. garlic powder
(I like to add lots of seasonings such as some Cajun and Italian, but you don't have to, just depends on what you like)
salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 tbsp!. brown sugar
about 1 cup shredded cheese (you don't want too much!. just enough to hold it together)

Saute everything together except for the cheese and brown sugar!. When meat is cooked, drain the fat!. Add the brown sugar and cheese while mixture is still warm!. Let cool completely (I make the day or two ahead and store in the refrigerator)!. Take out your biscuits and roll out with rolling pin (or whatever you have on hand)!. You want them thin, but not see through!. Take about 1-2 Tbsp!. of the meat mixtrue and place in the middle!.

Whisk an egg with 1 tbsp!. water!. Take a brush (or your finger) and brush egg wash onto one edge of the biscuit!. Press together the edges around filling and pinch together to seal shut!.

Bake at 350* until biscuits are golden brown!. No dip is necessary!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
