Answers:
There is so much more information needed to give a proper answer.Such as;
Length of party..longer party, more food needed
Time of party..right after work, people tend to be hungrier
Buffet..people tend to eat more
Type of food..light foods go more quickly than rich foods
Ask your question again with more info. and I can be more specific with an answer.

A whole grocery store! LOL

quite a bit

What's your menu? Are you following a recipe? If so note the number of servings and figure 2 servings for most. This way your sure to have plenty. If you are making dogs, burgers, steaks, figure a burger each (I get 3 or 4 burgers out of a 1 lb. pkg. of ground chuck) and 2 dogs each, a steak per adult. All your left overs can be froze for later. Potatoes figure one per person and a few extra for the pot(so to speak)
Hope this helps! I have had experience in this area!

well depends on what kind of food you serve, if you are doing finger food′s then say 5 or 6 for each thing for adults & kids , well they normally go for the pizza′s and sausage rolls and little egg sandwiches , you know boil the eggs then mash them add a little butter then spread, then the jelly′s and little cakes , lot′s of food I would say

well best thing to do is get something that everybody likes you finger foods like chips and dip, small chicken wings, a veggie tray, you know little things that you can eat with your hands and for the kids they will usually be to excited to eat but bake cakes and cookies for after the main meal try not to look at the food so much because the more you do the more you want to make and usually you'll have left overs or people will want to take some home but don't worry if you have good time no will have to worry about the food just watch it so that you don't burn up anything good luck
