Answers:
Offer a cheese tray of assorted cheese cubes, chips and dips, popcorn, and have a simple sweet like a tray of cookies. Ice dowm some cold drinks and you're set. You might want to have crackers to go with the chili.

Hot dogs and peanuts. Chips, crackerjacks and pretzels (hard and soft). Keg beer and soda.

Nix the chili

Serve traditional stadium food.

we are going chips and salsa, beer of course

If you are set on chili, here are some ideas:
Serve rice or noodles on the side to go with the chili

Serve nachos or chips, salsa, guacomole, etc. as well since the condiments are pretty much the same - some will even put the chili on the chips, etc.

Bread, cheese and crackers seem to flow right in as well

Alternately provide sandwiches or subs for those not digging chili or better yet, do grilled cheese - everyone seems to like this and it is good without the chili or alongside it.

If you are from Indianapolis - you can serve salad and dainty little cucumber sandwiches to go with your pink lemonade.... - I live in Chicago - GO BEARS!

chips, sour cream or cheese dips (onion soup dip and seven layer dip), chili, salsa, Buffalo wings, cheese balls, pizza, sodas, and potato salad. these are all very simple recipes. hope this helps.

We always serve diced onions, shredded cheese (Cheddar and pepper jack), and cornbread with our chili - two types, Plain & Jalapeno and diced bell pepper (any color).
For the Super Bowl, I like to serve grilled brotwurst (simmer them in a shallow pan of beer and sliced onions before serving, and that way they stay warm until everyone can eat). And Croissant wrapped Kilbasa/Polish Sausage are tasty too. Just preheat the sliced sausage (2'' pieces) alittle first and then bake according to the croissant dough directions - good w/ mustard!
I also serve what we call Super Bowl Burritos - frozen bean and beef burritos covered with a can of enchilada sauce and topped with shredded cheddar, diced black olives and green chili. Bake for about 1 hour at 350 and serve with a dollop of sour cream. YUM!
Things you can top with Chili -
Corn Chips
Spaghetti
Hamburgers
Baked Potatoes
Hot Dogs
Cream Cheese (good dip 4 chips)
Bread Bowls (don't over-hollow)

This slices well and is a BIG hit.

STROMBOLI

2 frozen bread loaves
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
1/2 lb. chipped ham
1 lb. hamburger or sausage, browned
Small pkg. pepperoni
1 green pepper
1/2 onion
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
Or, whatever you like on your Pizza

Roll out dough long and narrow. First pile cheese down center, then other ingredients on top. Pull up sides and pinch together. Grease pan; put seam of stromboli on bottom. Make slits on top for steam. Bake at 350 to 375 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes. Makes 2 large stromboli.

I like to serve chili over spaghetti and have bowls of different cheeses, sour cream, and other toppings available. Maybe some pigs in the blanket, too. I would offer something on the menu to cool off the tongue like fresh fruit with cream cheese dip!

Cinnamon rolls! Yummy. We had this a Christmas time when I was young, just loved it.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers...I know I know for sure...just kidding though they do rock! Sides that go great with chili? Jalepeno Cornbread or regular, saltine crackers, frito chips, sporty peppers, shredded cheese, green salad, a nice light fruit salad, and yummy mini corn on the cobs with cilantro/garlic butter. I like to leave out extra bowls of onion, jalepenos, black olives and a little ramakin of butter. Also Franks hot sauce, tabasco sauce & gourmet vinegar as extra condiments. Hope this helps...

You can have tortilla chips and cheese queso, and have a buffet sort of setting. so they can have straight chili, or they can make nachos or chili baked potatoes, or chili cheese fries. When you figure out one of the things you want, just build off of that to get more ideas and make the menu more diverse and still simple. Everyone can mix and match to get what they really want.

With such a bold flavor as chili, you should have something sweet to even things out. I always make fruit pizza. It's just a big sugar cookie, you can use store bought dough, and use frosting as the sauce. the toppings are the fun part. i use white chocolate shavings and strawberries, but you can really use any fruit, dessert stuff you want. I've done a rocky road one once. with chocolate cookie marshmellow cream and almonds and chocolate chips. the more you play with it the more fun it is.

Drinks are a very important thing also. Beer and Rootbeer floats are a big hit.

vegetable tray, chips, you should put a bowl of chopped onions and grated cheese and some sour cream out for your chili. chicken wings, and chips and dip

chesese chile chip pickle drinks cake

tostitos goes great with chilli and cheese. add some hot-dogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks, then you'll be ready for some SuperBowl Fun!
