Barrel O' Monkeys - Have party guests line up on one side of the room!. Tell them that they are the monkeys trying to reach the safety of the jungle treetops on the other side of the room!. However, they must get past the Tiger - the party child - who is standing in the middle!.

When a Monkey is tagged by the Tiger, he or she must link arms with him and join forces in capturing more Monkeys for the Monkey chain!.

As the Monkey chain grows longer, it's harder to move quickly to capture more Monkeys!. And!.!.!. the running Monkeys have to be more crafty about getting around the Monkey chain!. The last free Monkey is the winner!.

Swift Safari - Line guests up into two teams!. Fill two backpacks with a pair of adult-sized shorts, shirt, hat and boots and place them about 20 ft!. from players!. At the signal, the first player on each team must run to the backpack, open it, and put on all the clothes, then run back, take them off, and put them back into the pack!. The next player repeats this process!. The first team finished is the winner!.

Peanut Patrol - Place two tables about 20 ft!. apart!. Place two bowls of peanuts on one table and two mugs on the other!. Players on each team take turns running from one table to the the other, filling their team’s mug from the peanut bowl!. The first team that fills the cup is the winner!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

for decor:
-basically a jungle theme, obviously, so have green and brown streamers everywhere with snake baloons hanging off them ans some construction paper leaves

-pictures of jungle animals on the wall

For decorations:
- have brown/yellow/tan/green coloured balloons/paperchains/streamers or stuffed animals like teddy lions and stuff!.
- make little signs eg!. Zimbabwe ---> 3000 miles!.
- make big paw prints and put them all over the floor!.
- when it gets a bit dark, get torches and take them on a jungle tour of the garden!.

Jungle games:
- sleeping lions
- jungle board games
- make cards with animals on, and people have to pretend to be the animals
- you could get toilet roll cardboard and sellotape and do a make your own binoculars activity!.

Everyone could dress up as an animal or a jungle person, like on safari!.

Food:
- cake like a jungle one, with a girraffe on or something
- make pizza's with animal spots or stripes
- "pigs" in blankets
- french fries (flies)
- peanut butter and "jelly"phant sandwiches cut in elephant shapes
- gummy worms
- fruit
- animal crackers

Make jungle cocktails, like fizzy drinks mixed with orange juice or squash!.

Sometimes Dollar Tree has stuffed monkeys, with velcro on their hands & feet, so you can hang them around your neck!. An animal pinata would be good!. My daughter got cupcake cakes from Kroger one year; 1 was a zebra and one was a "girl" gorilla (complete with pink bow & lipstick) !.!.!. A bounce house or other blow-up bounce thingy is good for that age; and you could put some cardboard palm trees and animals around itWww@FoodAQ@Com
