What kind of fruits do you serve with cheese's?!

Question:

What kind of fruits do you serve with cheese's?

Answers:
Depends on the cheeses you want to serve. Pears, apples and grapes work well with most cheeses, pears especially pair well with bleu cheeses. Apples and cheddars are really matched well. Grapes can run with about any cheese, I prefer them with softer white cheeses. I would avoid serving softer flesh fruits, such as peaches, as the textures don't meld together well. Aside from that, go with what your tastes enjoy!

Clementine orange wedges, grapes, and mellon are good

Typically, apples, pears, grapes...

Apples, grapes, sometimes walnuts or almonds are included. It depends on what varieties of cheese you are planning on serving.

Grapes are the best.

Pears, starfruit, apples, avocado.

Grapes, Strawberries, Apples, and Pears. No citrus fruits.

Any and all fruits are appropriate serve with cheese.

ask the guy at the cheese shop for specific recommendations for each cheese.

I know that everyone is saying: apples, grapes, and that kinda stuff, but why not LEMONS? Make a change ! Try something new! hope I helped..

I serve grapes and apple slices......

Most people serve apples, pears, grapes, and sometimes berries, because they taste good with an assortment of cheeses, and they hold up well. You don't want anything that wil drip, like citrus. I hate cheeses that get soggy from having liquids get on them. While honeydew and canteloupe can be firm, I don't care for the flavor much with cheese. That's my preference. I do like pieces of fresh pineapple that's not drippy. You wouldn't want canned pineapple. Again, it's a juice problem. Too wet.

Chefs are trained to know what goes well with what, so try to remember what you've seen on a platter at a restaurant. This doesn't mean you can't try other things, but it's a way to be safe, if you don't want to experiment.

.

grapes (don't pluck them off the vine), apples, maybe plums and apricots and pears...

Strawberries, grapes & watermelon..always best to serve sweet fruits with cheese

GRapes, pears, apples, melons.... also if you are going to have some good hard cheeses you can offer a bit of balsalmic vinegar, yummy!

Apple and/or pear slices, grapes and blueberries.

If you can find quince paste at a gourmet food shop, offer that too - goes fantastically with cheese!
