So rent silly eighties movies or silly japanese 'horror' flicks (think Godzilla and Mothra) and have them going in the background. Have a stereo in another room with a punch bowl and snacks. When people see people they know and like, the party will take care of itself.

you should just invite me tankz for the invite

My brothers sweet sixteen party is tomorrow and we are also pentecostal (though we will do a lil bit of dancing ;)

We are doing a big scavenger hunt. We will have teams go out and find all sorts of things over a 2 hour period. some examples are: yellow vehicle, fire truck, take out menu, riding a horse, painting toes, nursing home activity sheet, a fish, etc. Also give each team $1 + tax and tell them to buy whatever they can with the most items in it (ex. Q Tips) and the team with the most gets the points for it!

Then my parents are ordering pizza because it will be easy but a cheaper thing is Nachos (do velvetta and rotel dip in a crock pot and then a bowl of chilli) it is cheap but we did that at our xmas party.

we are also doing root beer floats to go with his rock and roll theme (we have brought in old music hits and fun songs like the chicken dance)

Just remember it is best to just have fun! Hope this helps

Other ideas could be... survivor themed w/ crazy games, triva night, or a murder mystery party (you can by how to host a murder off like ebay and it is clean not brutal!

make a custon car-shaped cake and have it out in your backyard or rent a place if u want

I am from the South, so please excuse me if my answer doesn't fit your situation. Anytime I am entertaining a large, diverse group of people, a cookout or barbeque is always a crowd-pleaser (We folks down South prefer a Pig-Pickin'). That way, you feed a large crowd, and provide music and some fun activities, everyone wins!
