Question:

This a a law for how many adults you need at a kids party?

Answers:
If it is your own kids party at home there are no rules.

If it is an organisations party then the rules are set by the governing body (eg Scouts, School, Church etc) but you could require someone (but not everyone) to have a disclosure certificate and the ratio of adults to children could vary between 1 in 4 and 1 in 30 (think about a school class size!). There is not a hard and fast LAW which is universally applied but there is legal guidance which most people take beyond that actually required by the current legislation..

I think there has to be 1 adult per 6 kids, but not sure, also you have to be careful that anybody who takes birthday snaps takes a video recording of it gets permission first off all the parents of the kids that are going. (Stupid I know, but there are horrid people about)

there is no law but it would be good if you had one adult per 4kids

depends on their ages.
pre school 1 adult per 4
primary age 1 adult in 7
teens 1 adult per 12

Well, it's a very short law, in fact, so short I havn't seen it....
What IS the law?
Or is it a cryptic statment???

If you are having a party and it is not in an OFSTED registered setting ie. nursery or school then there is no hard and fast rules. It would be advisable to have one adult per 3 children under the age of 2, one adult per for children aged 2-3 years and one adult to 8 over 4 years. These are the guidelines given in nursery schools.

No law in England providing the party is free of cost but it would be sensible to get a few in to help

never heard of one, only in the context of day care or schools

Never heard of 1.

But roughly 1 adult per 4 children would be enough.

As BLUE said you do have to ask permission before you take pictures too. A lot of parents would be offended.

Good luck and have fun at the party!

i dont think theres a law but im not a judge ect: i would make sure theres more than 1 adult to help at least
