Question: A can of coca cola for £3 and a beef sandwich for £16 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel!?
I read in the paper that the Hyatt Regency hotel charges expensive prices!. It cost £19 (allegedly) for a simple can of coca cola and a beef sandwich!.
Isnt this a bit crazy!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yes, its crazy, but also typical of high end hotels!. I stayed at the Four Seasons in Maui last year, and they wanted $36 for a juice box and grilled cheese sandwich for my daughter! There was a small bar in my room, where if you partook of it, they charged you $8 for a bottle of water! Needless to say, it didn't take long for me to find the local grocery store and stock up on my own supplies!. Yes, its criminal what they charge, but they seem to have been getting away with it for years, so, whatever the market will bear, I suppose!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I guess rich people can afford to pay ridiculous prices, the most I've ever paid for a can of coke is 70p and £3!.90p for a chicken and salad sandwich!. Some people just have too much money, that's life !!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

They will charge what people are prepared to pay it's called businessWww@FoodAQ@Com
