Should I throw a baby shower/ house warming party for my BFF?!

Question: Should I throw a baby shower/ house warming party for my BFF!?
OK me and my best friend both work at the same company!. She is out on maternity leave because she just had a little boy!. Well the company didn't do anything for her but send her a card!. A lot of our friends from work want to get her some things for the baby!. What should I do, She had the baby 2 weeks ago and just moved into her new house 3 days ago!. A spot that we go to with our coworkers to eat, relax, and have a few drinks is Ruby Tuesday!. I think it would be nice if we all meet up there and kind of surprise her with some things for her house and the baby!. Will Ruby tuesday's mind if we come in with gifts and balloons!?!?!? I want to do something nice and fun, If you have any ideas please feel free to share!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think that's a wonderful idea! Restaurants are used to people coming in for parties!. Just call ahead and tell them how many will be there - they'll probably set you up towards the rear of the room, and will reserve the seating for youWww@FoodAQ@Com

Perhaps you should get take out from Ruby Tuesdays and take it to her at a planned time!. It's pretty daunting to travel with a new baby-besides infants shouldn't be in public until at least a month old!. It would be a nice thing to do to throw her a shower but make sure its around her new schedule!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've never heard of a restaurant minding if you bring in presents and balloons- especially if it means more people are coming to eat!. I would call them to be sure if you haven't seen other people do it there before!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
