There was a movie with Tom Cruise in the 80's called 'Cocktail' about fun at a bar!.
Glitter Balls were still around!. Strobe lights were big (Flashing lights)!.
We drank tequila with lemon and salt! Blue cocktails like a blue lagoon were big!. Daiquiris - strawberry, banana any fruit! Brandi-vino was cheap and a bit yucky now! Fruity lexia - wine casks were big!. We would blow up the bladders and hang them up!. Think fluorescent co lours such as pink, yellow and green!. Plastic was in, leather was sort of out!. Lycra - yes hot pants and ripped up denim jeans!. wearing one glove and teased up boofy hair!. Shoes Doc Martins or Desert boots!.
