all of the above

Golden pigs - 100% Upcoming YO the pig - cute and fun and not too $$$. Any ornament shop in a Chinatown of your choice should carry, or may order on-line from Chinese or party favour speciality stores. BTW - dim sum, Chinese dumplings would be great for party finger food if you can find any. Have fun!

Red will be good for decorations as it brings good luck to the chinese. Apart from red, yellow is popular too. Avoid dull colour like black or brown. Not too sure which part of the world are you from, as they sell decoration stuff. With that, you can just buy the decoration stuff and hang it around your house.

Food like spring roll, dumpling, noodles, sweet and sour chicken, dried chilly chicken, mixed vege, etc are very associated with chinese.

Buffet will be the best way to serve your food as people can choose what they like and don't like.

Good luck and Happy Chinese New Year

It is the year of the PIG, so decorate like a barn yard....ooonk ooonk...
