I have the perfect thing. Get the cheese thats flavored and slice them very thin and serve with wheat thins. Yo knoe the cheese in the gocery wit the differnt flavors. And of course there is nothing like a seafood platter.

here is a recipe

Cheesy Olive appetizers

These became popular in the '60's and are still good today. Bet you can't eat just one! Prep time includes 20 minutes of flash freezing.

55 min 40 min prep
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup soft butter
1 cup unsifted all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 jar stuffed green olives

1. Mix together all the ingredients except the olives.
2. It will be a thick mixture.
3. Drain at least 48 stuffed green olives.
4. Wrap approximately 1 teaspoon of the cheese mixture around each olive, to completely cover it.
5. Flash freeze covered olives at least 20 minutes.
6. Store in a freezer bag until ready to serve.
7. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 400F for about 15 minutes.

I love the Pepperidge Farm box of cookies, made for entertaining, Rosie O'Donnell loves em to!! You can get them at Wal-Mart.

With great wine,
A variety of cheeses & olives.

cracked black pepper
Pepperoni Stick sliced
Shrimp Cocktail
Bruschetta (you can buy this already made, just serve on toasted French baguette slices)
Vegetable Crudite with Dip (celery, peppers, carrots, broccoli)
Brownies w/Ice Cream and Assorted Cookies for dessert

Grill plums & figs & drilzzle w/ honey

Chocolate covered strawberries

Miniature cheesecakes.

Found in the frozen dessert isle at your grocery store. Slice up some berries or bring over chocolate sauce to drizzle over the miniature pieces. Some mini cheese cakes are already dipped in chocolate.

Mini eclairs
Mini cream puffs

Head over to late nite Wendys, goood.

veggies and dip, cheese meat and crackers chips and dip, little weinies in bbq sauce

My new favorite is mini crabcakes. The recipe is on the tin of lump meat crab (find it in the meat section). The recipe is just wonderful as is, but I do add a drop or two of hot sauce.

I add a dollop of relish on top of each, it really adds something that lemons, tartar sauce or cocktail sauce just can't beat.

Relish:
1 crisp apple, such as McIntosh or Granny Smith, finely chopped
1/4 red onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup dried sweetened cranberries, chopped
1 teaspoon chili powder
2 teaspoons honey
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

combine all ingredients. That's it.

chocolate covered strawberries, lady fingers, chocolate flvored pretzels.

You can do little mini cheesecakes. Get some of the silver foil cupcake liners, put a vanilla wafer in the bottom and spoon the cheesecake mix into them until they are about 2/3 full. You'll probably knock 5 - 10 minutes off the baking time by having them in cupcake liners. Open a can of cherry pie filling and put 3 cherries with sauce on the top of each one. These are awesome and everyone will love them - I promise! (plus, being close to valentine's day it will carry well).

Another idea is miniature cream puffs. Your regular cookbook probably has a recipe for these delicate pastries. Fill them with the cook & serve chocolate pudding and dust confectioners sugar on top just before serving.

These are my two best finger food desserts that I can whip up easy and always get a ton of compliments on. Good luck!

cucumber sandwiches. take cucumber slices and put them on little rye toast slices with dill flavored cream cheese. I had these at my bridal shower and they were a hit.
