Mad Hatter Tea Party?!

Question: Mad Hatter Tea Party!?
So, it's my 21st this year (omg, yayness, one step closer to officially being regarded as an adult- just need to finish school, gte a job, have a family, buy a house!.!.!.)

In honour of my fave book/story, I've chosen to have a Mad Hatter tea Party!.

Trick is, its on a budget!.!.!.so, I need suggestions:

We need games (think Alice in Wonderland)
We need finger foods (its not a sit-down meall!.!.!.in fact, we'll be "Changing places" often)
We need ideas for cheap crockery! But not breakable crockery!
We need ideas for invitations!
We need ideas for cheap decorations (i!.e homemade)

also, its most likely going to be inside, because my birthday will be in the Australian Winter!.

The only idea we have so far is that instead of people giving me presents, I'll be giving all them unbirthday gifts, including cupcakes with a candle each, which we'll all blow out together n__n

Ih yes! The guest list will probably be between 15 and 30!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Well for drink, go with tea, super cheap and inexpensive!. For food, finger sandwiches (sandwiches cut in fourths), chips, fruit, and vegetables, cookies things like that!.

You could create games like:
unscrambling tea-party terms
Guess how many tea-bags are in the clear container,
Alice in Wonderland Character charades
"Dress up" or make wacky hats
See who could come up with the most creative way to wear a bunch of hats
make teams and have them act out a scene from Alice in wonderland

For decorations make stuff out of tea bags, and go to thrift shops and buy tea mugs and use them to make decorations!.

Make you invitations, you could get a picture off the internet and make a simple invitationWww@FoodAQ@Com

Your first responder has alot of the same ideas I had, we did a similar party in scouts, we made hats from newspaper and decorated with flowers, ribbons, etc and had tea and cookies (or cup cakes) a fruit tray would be nice, some thing with hearts would be with the theme, maybe decorations!?!? have the same theme on the invitesWww@FoodAQ@Com

Make huge food for when alice was little,
and itty bitty food for when alice was little!.
make it dress up themed!.
Sorry don't have much else!. hope this helped!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
