All men love STEAK!
A good Porterhouse cut, baked potato (big California long white) and salad with garlic bread
Can't go wrong on that one.
Make a strawberry shortcake for dessert...it's "red" and who doesn't like strawberry short cake?
Make it and share it together...Don't forget the candles, placemats, flower(s) chilled red wine or beer.
That's a true effort and substantial meal for any guy and one he won't be hungry an hour or so later. If he owns a dog...sent the bones home with him. Have a great day!

Make him a love shaped pizza :=p

I think you will make Biriyani,Mutton Kassa, Chilly Chicken, Kabab & make some sweet. You should be also arrange some alcoholic drink.

Do fondue, a cheese one & a chocolate one so you can feed each other. Have fun.

make him some sort of pasta that is always romatic. your making me hungry

find out, unless ye already know, what he likes best and make plenty of it!. and ain't you the sweet one! my wife'll probly just point at the stove and say "there it is, use it!"

Something that is easy to prepare and make, whilst you can talk and enjoy one another's company.

Now that all depends on your skill levels - which I am sure are superb - how you doin'?

Here is something easy

You need 2 chicken thighs (deskinned), chicken stock (1 pint), one onion, one garlic clove (you're both eating so no worries) mushrooms, cream, dried tarrogon. Separately white rice

Heat a tablespoon of oil add the onion and soften for 3 minutes moving them occasionally. Now add the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Now add the chicken and fry for 1 minute on both sides. Add the stock and cover for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile cook the rice by putting one cup of rice, a splash of oil and enough water to cover it times 2. Heat until it starts to boil fast then turn the heat right down and cover. Leave this now for 15 minutes
Whilst this is all done the last thing you need to do is fry the mushrooms in a separate frying pan. Once they are done add to the chicken and take the lid off. Reduce the stock sauce by turning the heat up a little until it is not too much then add the tarrogan( a teaspoon to taste) and then add the cream.
Serve with the rice. Delish!

Ask him...he will tell you what he likes and then you can make what he likes, what he will appreciate. A lot of people make what they THINK someone will like or whatever someone else told them they SHOULD make, but to make dinner for someone, especially on a special day like V-Day or a birthday, the meal should be guest of honor specific...Why serve chocolate covered strawberries if the are allergic or beef tips if they are vegetarian? Ask him what his favorite foods are and then give them your best shot--he will appreciate your effort to make him happy.

steak salad potatoe

egg sandwich with lettuce tomato and mayo
a bowl of chili with shredded cheddar cheese on top
a salad and ranch dressing
a bowl of turtle soup
ziti that is at room temp and throw some bacon in the sauce
a glass of beer
some water melon

hehe , just ask your man to chill in front of the tellie with a nice glass of wine while you humm in the kitchen and do your thing! men normally like pasta so try some pasta with chicken and a nice tangy but creamy sauce. it will go down good with the wine and pasta is good for they're "muscles".
and get some strawberries and ice-cream for the dessert!

Choice of food could be any kind, as long he likes it. It would better if you check with him. I think most importantly the amount/qty should be just nice for just two of you. To make something is an effort that he will definitely appreciated. Too many food would take up time to prepare & moreover wastage as due to excess left not eaten. I would suggest, reserve quality time with him.

That is NOT corny! DH and I always have fun when we work together in the kitchen!

Chicken Piccata
Linguine Pasta
Big Caesar or Green Salad
Chocoalte Lava Cakes for dessert

CHICKEN PICCATA

2 skinless and boneless chicken breasts, butterflied and then cut in half
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 cups all purpose flour, for dredging
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
5 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup chicken stock
1/4 cup brined capers, rinsed
1/3 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Season chicken with salt and pepper. Dredge chicken in flour and shake off excess.
In a large 10 or 12-inch skillet over medium high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter with 3 tablespoons olive oil. When butter and oil start to sizzle, add 2 pieces of chicken and cook for 3 minutes. When chicken is browned, flip and cook other side for 3 minutes. Remove and transfer to plate. Melt 2 more tablespoons butter and add another 2 tablespoons olive oil. When butter and oil start to sizzle, add the other 2 pieces of chicken and brown both sides in same manner. Remove pan from heat and add chicken to the plate.

Reduce heat to medium low and add the lemon juice, stock and capers. Return to stove and bring to boil, scraping up brown bits from the pan for extra flavor. Check for seasoning. Return all the chicken to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove chicken to platter. Add remaining 2 tablespoons butter to sauce and whisk vigorously. Pour sauce over chicken and garnish with parsley.

MOLTEN CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKES

1/2 C. butter, unsalted
4 oz. bittersweet chocolate
2 eggs
2 egg yolks
1/4 C. sugar
2 T. all-purpose flour

Butter and flour custard cups or specialty molds. Preheat oven to 450oF. Melt the butter and chocolate, but do not let it boil. Remove from heat and set aside. Beat together the 2 eggs plus 2 yolks and the sugar, until it's light and thick... about 5 minutes. Pour the now tepid chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, and beat to mix. Quickly beat in the flour until just mixed in. Pour into the custard cups. (At this point you can refrigerate for up to 24 hours. If you refrigerate, let return to room temp before you bake.) Put custard cups on a baking sheet and bake at 450oF for 6-7 minutes. The outside will be set up, but the top may still be slightly wiggly. Invert on plate, let sit for 10 seconds or so, remove custard cup. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, and surround with a raspberry sauce or sauce of your choice.

He should be cooking for you on Valentines Day.
Although cooking together with wine would be very romantic.

New York strip steak. baked potatoes-a good bottle of Merlot-quick easy

It's not corny at all. Some men, me included, like to share the kitchen with a beautiful woman.

If you know what he likes, go in that direction. Some of us like steak, some pasta, some wings.

My all-time favorite is chateau-briand, asparagus w/cream sauce and rice pilaf.

Good luck and Happy Valentine's Day.

Maryland Crab Cakes
Growing up near the Chesapeake Bay you learn that crabs are as valuable as gold. My mom made crab cakes every Friday in the summer months, but I like my recipe just a little better. Don't tell mom."

INGREDIENTS
1 pound crabmeat
2 slices white bread, crusts trimmed
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Dijon-style prepared mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning TM
2 tablespoons butter
DIRECTIONS
Pick the crab meat to remove any remaining pieces of shell.
Pick bread into small pieces and place in medium-size bowl with crabmeat. Add egg, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and Old Bay seasoning ?. Mix ingredients by hand to avoid overworking the crabmeat, you want to keep the lumps of meat as much as possible. Form into patties; this should make 6 good-size cakes.
Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet, then fry cakes for about 4 minutes each side or until brown crust forms on both sides of the crab cake.

no making supper together can be fun - but really - find me a man (who's not a vegetarian that can resist a good steak (just make sure its a decent steak not bottom of the line) - don't forget a decent bottle of red wine to go with it though

a heart shaped steak, guys love steak!!! And you would too. Be created with the sides!!!

No, its not corny at all. All restaurants are so crowded on v-day, that it makes better sense to eat at home. Don't try to make something really complicated that you've never tried. Make something you know is good and easy to do. Its a lot more fun too, if you make dinner together.

This superb menu built around oysters, steak and chocolate should do nicely!

What types of foods does he like? My hubby likes eggplant Parmesan with broccoli and garlic toast. Have something like chocolate and strawberries for desert.

well first u should start off with a small appetizer why you r preparing dinner, and then for tha main course u should make sumthing like a t-bone steak/a baked potatoe on the side with sumthing like punch (to think of it as wine) to drink and for desert sumthing like chocolate covered strawberrys so that wy u could feed him one and he can feed u ine to. oh yeah dont 4get tha candles cuz theres no romantic dinner w/out the candles o.k.
