Is there a theme? What kind of food do you serve? Does it have a name? What age group are you targeting? Add some info, it would be easier to come up with ideas with something to go on.

Have wimpy burger night. It is very small hamburger's on silver dollar buns, but set it up buffet style and let them put there own topping on. It seems to work if you keep it affordable to families. Good Luck

Well there are the obvious ideas...Live music and open mic night. It is hard to suggest ideas when I don't know much about the style of your restaurant. You could also have a charity night this works especially well if you sell alcohol. Pick a charity that you like advertise that you are having a dinner for them and 10% of all that entrees are going to be donated. You'll still make a bunch of money off of appetizers, alcohol and deserts. Then before you have the dinner spice up the menu or specials maybe introduce something different like tapas (once again hard not knowing more about your restaurant) maybe give the restaurant a face lift and what I mean by that is rearrange your tables maybe buy a outdoor looking 2 couch set and coffee table to put in there people always like to sit at those cause they are more relaxing but only put one set in if the restaurant is small and two if it is big. You want people to fight over it. Maybe get some stuff about the charity and put under plastic table cloths for people to read a socialize about while waiting for there food. Buy having this one night it will revive and remind people that you are there and then at that night you could advertise some acoustical music coming up or open mic night and people would make plans to come back. Good luck. Let me know if you need anymore ideas and could give me more info on the ambiance of your restaurant.

I may have several ideas for you...unfortunately very few of them would be free...Regardless we need more info...theme, demigraphics, target market, etc...

Look in the back of the Philadelphia Weekly, and the City Paper. Go through entertainment section, and just rip off some good ideas.

Giving away something free always works, or giving discounts. For example, wear a tropical shirt and get a free cocktail. Wear your pajamas get your coffee/drink free.

Human Bowling, look it up. Also, call your local rock stations to get involved.

Have a special menu on a certain night with several 99 to 1.99 items.

Or have free cookie or pie night. Drawings. Punch card for drinks with a prize at the end.

Also - do you have a "mascot" for your place. Hold a contact to pick a mascot - name the mascot, etc.

Feature local artists' work on the walls. Feature art from the high school or college art classes.

Offer late night dessert/drink dates.

Singer waiter are always fun.

I absolutely love a restaurant that has live music, even if it is a soloist. If you are trying to attract children/families, a magician that strolls from table to table was very popular in Chicago for 40 years.
Best of luck!
