Along with the other poster's suggestions:
Make a sign that says “Pit Stop” for the food table.
Serve food like hot dogs, chips, and baked beans in new, clean oil pans, drip pans, large funnels.
Can also have Pit Stop Pretzels and corn chips, popcorn...or use Pit Stop Pizza instead
Small chocolate donuts can be called tires.
Serve cupcakes with little checkered flags on them.
Make quick and easy "wheels" from any round cookie, by adding an M&M or junior mint in the center as the hubcap.
Serving punch? Call it Power Punch...or Speedway Sodas
Criss cross 2 black and white checkered flags at the event (or on the front door to the party area).
Make up fake license plates using numbers and letters--need doubles of each one. Have guests go to the "check in station" and get their "plate" (use cardstock and markers and make yourself)...keep one copy for yourself as these go into a bowl to pick later on for raffle prizes throughout the event.
Hang posters up of famous drivers (I"m assuming this has to do with NASCAR?)....as Daytona 500 is coming up in Feb.
They do make Race Day Tableware in black/white check...plates, napkins, cups, etc.
Same as tailgating at a football game.
Corn dogs
Burgers/Hot dogs
Cocktail sausages in BBQ sauce & grape jelly
Chips
Dip of-velveta cheese, Jimmy Dean bulk sausage, browned,Rotel tomatoes/peppers
Lots of ice,solo cups
paper towels not napkins
styrofoam plates not paper
Bring blankets in case the girls get cold
Maybe even a few quilted jackets.
ENJOY! But,be safe! Bring some earplugsjust in case.
Charge your cell phone and bring your car charger.
Fries, brats, burgers, mozzerella sticks, pizza, chicken fingers, meatball sub, hoagies, chips, hot wings, nachos AND BEER!!
This is for a car racetrack.
If you are talking about a horse track or greyhound track the food is a little more refined.
Chicken salad, crab cake sandwich, crab and artichoke dip, tuna melt, bruchetta, pasta salad AND WINE!!
