Would like some ideas for my son's Birthday Party food?!

Question: Would like some ideas for my son's Birthday Party food?
My son's having his 2nd Birthday Party on Sunday, and I've got the toddlers' food all set, but all of the other parents will be there along with some family members. So what kind of food should I put out for the ADULTS?

shrimp cocktail, tortilla chips with a classic dip, wine, macaroni salad, baked meat and fried riced :)

Bring back an old favorite for the kids and the grown-ups. Bumps on a Log are easy to make and fun to eat. Lighten some peanut butter by stirring in a little margarine or butter. Use about 1 part marg to 3 parts pb. For the grown-ups, add a drop or two of hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco.) Wash some celery stalks and cut them into 4" sections (2" for the kids) but don't split it up the middle. Spread the pb mixture in the center groove of the celery sections. Dot with raisins.

Otherwise, chicken strips are good with several choices of dipping sauces. Fresh veggie munchies are good, too, with dips. Wraps are easy to eat, too. Make several kinds. If you put lettuce into a wrap that will be eaten without knife and fork, pleeeeease tear the lettuce into little bits. Otherwise, it often pulls all the wrap filling out when bitten into.

Hi Becca, I've just answered a similar question,so rather than make something like a meal you could just put out chicken pieces, savoury rice, kebabs, vol.-au vents etc. you will get some ideas of what I am talking about from the site below. I hope this helps, all the best. Rab

What are you putting out fo4 the kids? Can;t the adult eat the same thing?

You could do pizza and cut into smallish bites.

Cheese, meat and cracker trays...

Meatballs in what ever sauce.

***I really hink you should give the kids more to eat than just snacks. Dp the pizzas. Everyone can enjoy it then. Frozen pizzas are decent pricesd and can be bought in any flavor.

You can order food in aluminum trays from the type of restaurants that you would go to for a baptism.
