Turning 14 years old and I don't want my party to be stupid?!?!

Question: Turning 14 years old and I don't want my party to be stupid?!?
I'm planning on throwing a party for my 14th birthday. I'm a girl and I'm planning to invite both boys and girls. I don't wanna be like lame and play games or something but I don't want us to just stand around and do nothing. WHAT SHOULD I DO? I want this party to be fun and be remembered. We can't go outside because it's old out so we're stuck in my basement. Good answers please? I only have like 2 weeks to pull this party together.. lol.

Answers:

Don't worry about making it cool. The more you care, the lamer it will be. As far as games, things like taboo, cranium, karaoke, and charades are always winners. It wouldn't be cool to plan this out, but games like spin the bottle, twister, and 6 minutes in heaven make those high school parties legendary. Just remember to be careful and indifferent... at the same time. Those two qualities can make you the high school god of parties.

As far as the rule of no alcohol or weed: I'm not making suggestions on whether this should be legislated at your party. Just make sure everyone involved, including your parents, and invited friends are aware of the possibilities. Again, be careful.

Last thing, be aware of who's coming. Parties like this can get out of hand when friends invite their friends. The safest course of action is to only invite a few people and let them know that you want to approve of anyone else they want to bring.

Good luck, and remember: be careful.

Just try to invite people who would be comfortable around eachother. About the games, not sure haha.

Movies and pizza? Just hang out.
