Yes, there really is such a group as the People for the Eating of Tasty Animals! I remember not too long ago someone caught this obscenely large critter (can't remember if it was a crab or a lobster). PETA tried to buy the thing so they could eat it! It was going to go to an aquarium, but it died on the way.
