Which is the better housewarming gift?!

Question:

Which is the better housewarming gift?

Wine
Cheese and Crackers
Bath product(like armotherapy salts/bath oil)

Answers:
well i say take the wine and cheese and the bath products....if you drink enough maybe youll get to try out the bath stuff together...

a GOOD bottle of wine and don't be cheap! may I even suggest a fine champange.

If it's a female, go with the bath products.....let her indulge herself in her new tub. If it's male, go with the wine........just because.

Scented candles from Yankee Candle Co. or you may make your own gift basket by throwing in a little bit of everything, like scented candles, spa products, champagne, chocolates, etc. so
eveyone in the house may enjoy your gift, be it male, female or child.

Any of the three.

It is always best to go with food. I had heard it was bad luck not to give food. I don't remeber where I heard that form, So it is alway food when i give housewarming gifts.

wine

Well, I think you should give her a gift card to something like Home Depot. It'll give him/her some extra money to fix up his/her new home!

A gift card

i would say the wine, with bath products, you don't know what they are into and wine is always a safe gift

Of the three- wine, but that can be a VERY personal taste. Too many different food allergies come into play trying to give cheese and crackers (milk, wheat, soy...)
I also like a candle on a pretty antique saucer, a bouquet of flowers like Gerber daisies, or a plant in a really cool looking pot.

New York Cheese Cake.

Cheese and Crackers, you don't know if they are recovering alcoholics, or if they are sex fiends.

if it's a family, male, or single woman you would like to impress--wine/cheese/crackers.

if it's a female that you just want to be friends with--bath products.

:-)

I would go for the wine. Even if they don't drink, they could use it to entertain others at some point.

Just for a different suggestion...bamboo is thought to bring good luck and prosperity so a nice bamboo dish garden would be nice too.

Good champers
Big candles
Good plain bed linen
Flowers

A wine and cheese gift basket is a good idea, but somewhat overdone. If the person you're buying a gift for is a very good friend, I would suggest a handwritten "certificate" for a day of free maid service provided by yourself. It is so much more personal and your friend won't get nervous about having a stranger in her home.
