Theme party based on a 20th century decade--which one would you choose and why?!

Question:

Theme party based on a 20th century decade--which one would you choose and why?

Answers:
I've always wanted to throw a retro 60s lounge party where people come dressed up in suits w/skinny ties and dresses. Serve up drinks like Manhattans and martinis and listen to lounge-y jazz.

The Twenties and Thirties had the wildest parties. I'd go for a Twenties or Thirties theme. The Sixties was good too but rather hung up on the 'Peace and Love seen through a Joss Stick (and other!) Haze'

80s. It is wild and crazy. The music and clothing were so...random--but fun.

The Roaring Twenties..Love the clothes, the speakesies must have been a blast,. The music was wonderful, Billie Holiday, the Cotton Club, Texas Guinnen, Hello Suckers! Mae West, Buster Keaton, Chaplin. WOW!

the 70's.

Well...It would have to be the 1960's for me. It was "Like wow man."
Why the 60's. Because, guys started growing there hair long, the girls wore wild freaky clothes, the music was just fantastic, and it was a great time to be alive.

There you have it.

70s and 80s

the 90's, because we knew how to f-ing party. take the 60's, 70's, and 80's put them together and thats how we did it in the 90's

The 1930's. Because, what's better for a theme party than crippling worldwide economic depression, rising Nazism and Fascism, and the specter of the second globally encompassing war within 20 years?!

The 50s has a great impact on the rest of the twentieth century. For starters, ROCK AND ROLL was first introduced! I was born in the 50's....etc., etc., etc.,
