Brain freezes?!

Question:

Brain freezes?

THe worst thing in the world is sitting out side of 7-11 with your friends or girlfriend drinking a slushy and getting a killer brainfreez while trying to enjoy your frozen treat. What is the best way/ the quickest way to get rid of a brainfreez.

Answers:
A brain freeze is caused by the roof of your mouth getting too cold so if you press your thumb or your tounge to the top of your mouth it will quickly go away. You can try rubbing your tounge or thumb on it too, either way it will vanish!

drink warm water!

I haven't been able to quickly get rid of "Brain Freeze" but I have learned how to reduce the chance of it (at least for me.)

When I drink, I try to keep from letting the icy mixture touch the roof of my mouth. I also try not to drink too fast either.

hold your head with both hands always helps, dont try to talk or shake your head or anything, but the best way to get rid of a brain freeze is to not even get it in the firsat place, brain freezes happen when you drink/eat something cold way too fast, slow down on the slushy

i hav no idea though the wierd thing is that lately i dont get brain freezes i get this frezing sensation down my throat and i can breathe for a bit ..... i dont know whats up with me

studies have been shown that if you eat it slower it will reduce brain freezes

drink some warm water

Start breathing heavily through your nose. I know, I've had slushy or slurpee brain freezes that gave me headaches.

Wear a ski mask.
