Bad taste party ideas?!

Question:

Bad taste party ideas?

I' m going to a party where we are to bring snacks that would be considered tacky or in bad taste. I still want what I bring to taste good, though. Any ideas?

Answers:
Kitty Litter Cake

1 German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 White Cake Mix
1 Pkg White Sandwich Cookies
1 Large pkg Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
Green food coloring
12 Small Tootsie Rolls and 2 long ones
1 *NEW* kitty litter box
1 alum. foil or plastic wrap or plastic bag for food that the pan will fit in
1 *NEW* pooper scooper

Prepare cake mixes and bake according to directions (any size pans). Prepare
pudding mix and chill until ready to assemble.

Crumble white sandwich cookies in small batches in blender, they tend to stick,
so scrape often. Set aside all but about 1/4 cup.

To the 1/4 cup cookie crumbs, add a few drops green food coloring and mix using
a fork or shake in a jar.

When cakes are cooled to room temperature, crumble into a large bowl. Toss with
half the remaining white cookie crumbs and the chilled pudding. You probably
won't need all of the pudding, mix with the cake and "feel" it, you don't want
it soggy, just moist; gently combine.

Line new, clean kitty litter box. Put mixture into litter box.

Put three unwrapped Tootsie rolls in a microwave safe dish and heat until soft
and pliable. Shape ends so they are no longer blunt, curving slightly. Repeat
with 3 more Tootsie rolls and bury in mixture. Sprinkle the other half of
cookie crumbs over top. Also take the long tootsie rolls and soften in the microwave and hang half in and half out of the pan. Scatter the green cookie crumbs lightly over the top,
this is supposed to look like the chlorophyll in kitty litter so stop sprinkling the green stuff if it looks like too much.

Place the box on a newspaper and sprinkle a few of the cookie crumbs around.

Serve with a *new* pooper scooper.

Make some really messy sanwhiches, or bring soup, it could be good soup but bringing soup to a party as a snack would be in bad taste. Anything that could make a mess would be in bad taste but messy things can taste really good.

How about Twinkies? They come wrapped in plastic, and are really out of style these days. But, they do taste good.

Dirty cupcakes
You will need:
? 1 box cheap cake mix
? Cupcake liners
? Chocolate frosting.
? Cookies for "dirt" - Chocolate wafers, oreos, etc
? Gummi worms and/or other decorations.

Make & frost the cupcakes
Mix the cake mix according to the instructions on the box. Stick the cupcake liners on a cookie sheet or inside muffin cups. Fill each liner about 3/4 full of cake batter. Bake according to the directions on the cake mix box.

After the cupcakes have cooled, apply frosting to their tops.

Turn your cookies into "dirt"
Smash your cookies into small pieces - it's your choice as to how fine the bits are and whether they're all roughly the same size.

Decorate the cupcakes
Sprinkle the smashed cookies on top of the cupcakes to simulate dirt and adorn with the flaccid gummi worms.

Tastes great, kids love them but really looks tacky.

Mangled Fingers
4boneless chicken breasts
1/2 cup Italian Dressing
1cup flour
1egg, beaten
1cup bread crumbs
Pitted black olives, halved lengthwise
Shredded lettuce

Marinate breasts of chicken in dressing for 30 minutes.

Grease a cookie sheet and set aside.

Cut chicken breasts partway to create five fingers with the uncut part representing the palm. Be sure to slice them a little crooked for realism. Dust the chicken in the flour and dip in the egg. Now coat them in bread crumbs and broil for 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Trim the tips with the olive fingernails and serve on lettuce.

OK here is goes, make grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup, but find doll heads to put in the soup. Easy, cheap, effective.

Puppy Chow

12 oz Crispix cereal, rice or corn
6 oz. milk chocolate chips
2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. oil
1/4 c. peanut butter

Melt chocolate chips. Stir in peanut butter while mix is hot. Pour in the oil and stir. Measure the cereal and put into a large bowl. Pour chocolate and peanut butter mixture over the cereal. Mix well together. Measure the powdered sugar and pour half in a large bag. Next pour cereal mixture into the bag and pour the other half of the powdered sugar. Shake the bag well. Pour the mixture out on a cookie sheet and allow to completely cool. Enjoy!

White Trash
10 oz pkg mini pretzels
5 c. Cheerios
5 c. Corn Chex
2 c. salted peanuts
1 lb. bag of M&M candies
2 (12 oz) pkg vanilla chips
3 T. vegetable oil

In a large bowl combine pretzels, Cheerios, Corn Chex, peanuts and M&Ms. Set aside. In a microwave safe bowl, heat vanilla chips and oil on medium high for 3 minutes, stirring once. Microwave on high for 10 seconds. Stir until smooth. Pour over mix and stir well. Spread on 3 wax paper lines baking pans. Cool and break apart. Store in an air tight container.

If all else fails buy a bag of pork rinds...tacky, tacky, tacky

The tackiest thing I was ever served in someone's home was E-Z cheese on crackers. It was at a very nice house and arranged on a very nice platter - but it was beyond tacky. Maybe you could make up a tray of those.

How about going to a fast food restarant and bringing your dinner to the party?? Get what you like, and just take it into the party like nothing is wrong!!

That, to me, would be in bad taste.

Saltines spread w/ deviled ham or spam spread and topped w/ ez cheese

Cheap wine in a box

Bakery treats w/ the day old discount sticker on them - buy them fresh, but ask the assoc at the counter for the stickers. Just explain to them what is going on.

Hit the ethnic food isle - look for stuff that you know will be good, but the labels are not in English, or just put something over the English part. Everyone has to guess at what they are eating.

Generic cookies, still in the box. Or a few packs of little debbies
