Nice Nightclubs in New York City?!


Question: Nice Nightclubs in New York City?
My friends and I are looking for a place to go out in about two weeks. We want to get dressed up (hair, make-up, short dresses, the whole 9 yards lol) meet guys, drink, and have a really good time. We really want to go to a nice, hip, chic place, but we're really not sure where we should go. The group I'm going with has girls aged 20-22, is mostly African-American (I only say that because I've been to nightclubs before where the bouncers at the doors have practically told me and my friends that we weren't getting in but let other girls of other races get in, Whatever!), and prefer top 40, hip-hop, rap, and reggae types of music (NO HOUSE OR TECHNO MUSIC!!!!)

If anyone has any suggestions, it would really help us out (Serious answers only please!)

not trying to be a jerk but if i was looking for a nice night out i would go anywhere in the world except nyc. ive been to new york city plenty of times because i have family there, but the city as a whole is just a cess pool with the scum from every nation on earth washing up to the shore broke and ready to steal or kill if necessary. id be surprised if there is a single place worth going. the only clubs you can probably go where you wont get shot by a gang banger on your way out are probably around $20 per drink. so i dont know. just drive a half hour upstate. there are many classy, respectful, clean, civilized human beings in the rest of the state. whenever i hear on the news about some other nation threatening nyc, i saw go for it. we'd be much better off as a country if that city didnt exist
