If you feel like having a theme and entertaining at home...you can do a "Breakfast at Tiffany's" party...kind of elegant...colors of turquoise blue and white..accent with silver....little sandwiches, cocktails, chocolate desserts or fondue or fountain. If you're able to pull off the Audrey Hepburn look with the skinny black dress and hat, all the better.

Or do a game night...invite friends, play all kinds of adult games and serve buffet foods...or have guests bring a "family favorite recipe from home" and all enjoy together in casual atmosphere--there's games like Mexican Train Dominoes, Charades, Trivia,

You don't need to have a huge party to have fun...just a few good people and a lot of laughs can make the night sparkle! Have fun.

All out 80's themed party music, great food, great drinks and cocktails and punches, watermelon filled with bacardi (google it) jello shots, twister, spin the bottle and pre-written dares, (funny to suit your friends) drinking games, a fortune teller, quiz/treasure hunt with clues attached to friends...hide and seek! think up great prizes fro everyone, dancing games 80's style moves only.

pamper afternoon with the girls, back home to get glammed up, posh dinner, sex in the city type dress code, posh club, champagne etc

Why not have a decade themed party? You could have a 1920's party of a 50's party and decorate your home with vintage style beverage dispensers and barware. It's sure to be a hit. People love getting the chance to dress up, and you even if you have to buy some items like whiskey decanters, you can definitely use them again! Have a good time!
