What should I bring to a party when I can't bring alcohol?!

Question: What should I bring to a party when I can't bring alcohol?
My friend Ellen invites me to parties at her house every single night and when I ask her what to bring she always says bring whatever you want. What should I bring? And how much should I spend? I live in a rich neighborhood and the grocerie stores here charge a lot of money for food.
My parents hid my driver's license because they don't want to me to buy alcohol. I used to have epilepsy and my doctor said if I drink I will get another seizure so I can't buy alcoholic drinks of any kind.

Answers:

You should bring a bag of chips, soda, a cake, or cookies.

Nuts, chocolates (like a bag of Hershey's Kisses), Candied Popcorn (like Poppycock), Can of Pringle's Potato Chips, Pretzels (stuffed with peanut butter).

Make a dip (you can make a lot for little $$$ if you mix sour cream plus some mayo) and bring some dippers like corn chips, crackers, etc.

Bottle of fruit juice (well chilled). Apple juice is nice for those who don't drink, or cranberry juice -- make believe it's wine by serving in a wine glass.

Hope these give you some ideas of your own.
