Depends on what kind of party. And how old the people are. For a more older crowd and a mroe sophisticated aprty try some gourmet food like rolls, mini quiches, dough folds, cheese/crackers platters, etc. For a party for kids or just an informal little get-to-gether with a few close friends then just get tons of junk food, like chips, pretzels, cookies, popcorn, trail mix, etc.

I say that a balance is always good! Like a platter of fresh vegetables and fruits with dipping sauces, chips and pretzels, and different appetizers such as mini hot dogs, mozzarella sticks, and hamburgers. Also, sparkling cider and soda are popular at parties.

Hope this helps! Have fun!

My mom's best friend is a caterer.
