I don't live in Dubai, I'm living in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia but I used to go to Dubai when I lived in Abu Dhabi, it's a nice place, very easy to spend your cash though, to many clicky expats on nights out all the time. Abu Dhabi was nice, more conservative but still plenty to do.
go to the emirates mall, if you dare to go to parks (humid weather..) go to alsafa park
