I'm not allowed a birthday party, HELP?!

Question: I'm not allowed a birthday party, HELP?
Basically my birthday is at the end of January but I'm not allowed to have a party because my parents can't afford it which I'm quite sad about because its my 13th. All my friends are expected me to have one so if i don't then i will have the worse birthday ever with hardly any presents. I didn't even ask for much i just need a bit for the food costs? Is there anyway i can have a party that costs nothing? Oh and my dad suggested that we go out for dinner but get everyone of my friends to pay for themselves but i don't think my friends would come to it if they had to pay.

P.S - my parents aren't together anymore so i have two houses.

I can understand your parents and you and both have needs and wants!!!But you can have a great party without cost you a lot of money!! You can download music tracks on limewire or any other free music downloading site!! For food you can have cheap stuff like pop corn Ruffles (any kind) and some pizza( a huge homemade !!) look for offers!! anything not expensive snack!! and drinks of course!! the food will gonna cost you about a lot !! you can play also funny party games(spin the bottle ,card games..) or rent at the end a good movie!!! that's a Gran party on a budget!!! Have a great tine!! :)

You could have the party at one of your parent's houses and ask your friends to bring some food to share. It doesn't have to be anything major just like some chips or a potato salad or jelly etc. That way the cost to you would be fairly small. They might rather do that than pay for themselves at a restaurant.

You shouldn't be so selfish. It shouldnt matter whether you get anything or not for your birthday, some kids get their school shoes for their birthday each year. Be grateful.

Its just your 13th, how is that significant?

Just have like 2 of your closest friends sleep over. FREE

If I had a kid like you I would tape you to a wall.

is there any place you can go that doesnt cost any money my ideas party in a your mums house if not a friends house or your local youth centre you need music food invitations you can each take something out of your parents house then you can make your own invitations

my teen party

Have a sleepover and invite everyone over at around 8 so that you do not have to give them dinner, that way you only need to give them breakfast which doesn't cost much to do.

My 13th birthday

I suggest having a sleepover, you know order simple pizza and watch a movie/show with your friends. :)

i didn't have a 13th birthday party, and my friends did.. i don't really see the big deal?

Nobody did anything for my birthday. Welcome to the real world.

It's really not fair to make your parents pay for it - and it's not the end of the earth. Have an indoor BBQ or something
