Should I make homemade frosting/icing?!

Question: Should I make homemade frosting/icing?
For a cake!! Should I make homemade frosting/icing or use my already bought pillsbury?
I bought 2 cans of pillsburry frosting but now i am having second thoughts of making my own?? Is frosting frosting?? OR does homemade MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE?
SO should I make my own?? Or what what i already have? TY!!

Answers:

hi use the bought frosting but then add your own touch on it.

Cream Cheese Frosting

The "tangy" cream cheese frosting flavor is a real hit on top of all kinds of cakes.

1 6 ounce package cream cheese
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup butter
4 cups powdered sugar (sifted)

Beat together cream cheese, vanilla, and butter until fluffy. Slowly add powdered sugar 1/2 cup at a time until the frosting is the right thickness to spread on cake. Keep in the refrigerator until serving.

Make your own! It's easier than you think (especially if you have a kitchen aid or electric beaters!) and it is sooo much better without the evils of the stablizers and preservatives in that can.
I DEFINITELY think it makes a difference!

If you're eating this cake alone, they just use the store bought frosting.. BUT! If you're giving this cake to a "special someone" you should make the frosting yourself to make it EXTRA special!! :D good luck!

Either way would taste good I'm sure, but it's fun to do it all yourself instead of store bought stuff.

Make your own! Store-bought really can't compare with the taste of homemade, even in frosting.

If you have a good recipe for frosting , make your own.If not , then use the can.

homemade wish someone would make me a cake lol
