not actually. if the flight is shorter than an hour, then yes. but if the flight is long and passes breakfast/lunch/dinner time, then no.

if u cut in-flight food, u can't bring your own food. they'll restrict it. think about bringing a durian in there, the whole pressure cabin will smell interesting. in the end, u have to get it from the airline. but if u didn't pay for it, it's expensive.

if malaysian airline is trying to cut down on cost, food plays a small factor. your airplane holds the bulk of the cost. maintainence, fuel, spare part and etc. then, yes, u should cut inflight food, only for economy user. 1st class probably still keep it.
