What should I serve at my luau party?
Answers:
slow roasted pork butt with an orange and mango chutney
chicken wings in a pineapple, brown sugar, ginger glaze with green and red pepper chunks
roasted veggies and fruit ( slice up: zucchini, onions, sweet potatoes, yellow squash, bell peppers, pineapple)
lots of fresh fruit
maybe a Jello dessert with whipped cream, pineapple, mandarin orange slices, sliced banana, grapes and toasted coconut on the side for those to top if desired
king's hawaiian bread
a tropical fruit punch with lots of ice and (rum for the adults)
roasted pig
poi
fresh fruit salad
sea food
roast pork
fresh frut platters
guacamole dip for sure!

sweet and sour shrimp....YUM

If it's a big luau, you have to dig a pit and roast a pig. Otherwise go for slow roasted pork and pinapple, poi, sweet bread and tropical drinks.
u should get some coconuts scoop the stuff out & that can b peoples cups! u should get lays & hula skirts & put on some hawaiian music & hula dance! ya know that kind of thing!~
Roasted pork, shrimp, and fish would fit with your theme, but if you can, grill up some chicken breasts as well, maybe with a pineapple slice on top to better fit with the theme. Some folks don't like pork or seafood. Fresh tropical fruit (kiwi, starfruit, etc.) would be nice as well. A dessert including coconut would fit right in. Good luck with your party!
