Is it good for a Man to have a candle light dinner by himself??!

Question:

Is it good for a Man to have a candle light dinner by himself??

Let's suppose he is single or divorced such as in my case and you want to have a candle light dinner, but no one to have it with special in your life so you treat yourself to one..is that a good idea, because I have heard pros and cons about that.

If you are talking long taper candles, well then I'd have to say no. But if your just talking about a few candles lit around the area I think that's different. The right candles can create a nice comfortable atmosphere. As a matter of fact, why wait for dinner? Lite one when ever you feel like it.

do what ever you feel like doing, p.s. i would

Sure why ever not. You deserve a treat every now & then!

Personally I think it's sad dude! Eating alone is bad enough but when put in conjunction with candle light, it makes it sound like a last great desperate act to pretend someone is at the other end of the table.

I never minded eating alone right into my 40's and as much as I enjoy candle light dinner with a female friend, I would NEVER do it alone... it's just... "odd"!

I think thats pretty weird. Why not just have normal dinner?

Why not?

If you want to do it, DO IT! It sounds nice and it might be very relaxing and something you look forward to at the end of the day.

Yes - it's a great idea and you can take advantage of yourself afterwards!

Why the heck not treat yourself to a nice dinner with candles if it will make you feel special and good about who you are ,,,I think its a really wonderfull idea ,,,

Why wouldn't it be a good idea. When I cook for myself I always set the table, dim the lights, light a few candles pour myself a glass of wine put on some good music and enjoy the peace and quiet. It's a great way to unwind.

There is nothing at all wrong with treating yourself to a nice dinner. Don't let the fact that most restaurants that serve nice dinners set the table with beautiful candles and flowers stop you. You are entitled to treat yourself to the best. Why wait until you have someone to share it with? Go for it!

only if he wants to
