I no longer drink alcohol ! what now ?!

Question:

I no longer drink alcohol ! what now ?

I'm f@cking scared on how i'm going to get on socially, drunk i was a bundle or so everyone said but being out when everyone else is f@cked is either going to be tempting (having a drink - i cant drink again), get on my tit's(annoyed with everyone else being drunk) or i've turned into the most boring cu@t there is to socialise with.
None of that "it's your personality that counts" pish.

Answers:
I'm sorry. But I like the word "pish" --- that's adorable.

Try Red Bull, similar effect

pot

smack?

Lay off the crack too!

Have you thought about becoming a nun?

alchohol isn't everything you have to learn to have a good time without it.

I'm sober 21 years. I'm still the life of the f@cking party. :-) Drunks bore me, though.

Unless you have an alcohol problem, I don;t see any reason you feel like you have to get drunk in the first place. I go out and have parties but dont get drunk.

Sorry M8 but with-out drink you are stuck as THE REAL THING "YOU"! And will NOT turn in to a DISTORTED version of what you or others view you as!
I missed it at the start (I STILL DO) but you get used to it. As for fun, all you need to do is to look at your friends fall about getting ripped-off!

Good Luck on your Journey!

I gave up drinking over 4 years ago, and if I am honest with you it will impact your social life.....

People say do say the old it's your personality counts blah blah, but they are not the one standing their cold sober.

Having a drink or two often gives you more confidence in a bar/club environment.

You will get used to it, but I havent found it gets any better. I used to go out drinking & clubbing all the time and now since giving up I rarely if ever go out to these sort of venues.

It can be frustrating and I would love to be able to say it's no different, but I'd be lying.

Good luck with it.

Thats a tough one. All I can suggest try and find support groups to help you. Wrap yourself around people who are in the same shoes are you, who understand you.

Truth be told, your friends will share a smidgen of sympathy for you while they fill their glasses. Find new friends who are dry and create your own circle.

OR tough it out and be the girl who doesnt need a drink to have a good time. Good luck and keep up with your sobriety.

fruit juices + exercise + swimming + water + sharbat + herbal aragh (e.g. distilled mint extract + tea) + sour cherry jam + ...

Ever heard of Coke.......................Coc...

You need new friends. Good for you for quiting that was hard. Now you need non drinking friends to secure your spot.

now you can get cremated!

Whenever you can drink sparkiling juices. Otherwise grin and bear it baby. Find a different way to socialize in different area. I mean your liver is healthier now so get active. Start usin your body in ways that help promote your good health, and build friendships with people who are interested in livin a healthy lifestyle.

Orrrr

When you go out just pretend to be somebody else. I know it sounds crazy, but if you arent lookin to make life long friends when you go out in the first place, and you're gonna make yourself feel like the wierdo of the group since you dont drink, you might as well be all the way weird and just act like you're different people. Be flirty with one person and dorky with another. Pretend to be different people to liven up the situation for yourself. Keep yourself busy so that you get too involved in your own game to care about having a drink. While other people are getting drunk, you can make them think their even drunker. It's fun. Try it.

you can truly enjoy yourself without getting bladdered plus you can remember all the night before and not be reminded of all you did and no longer remember plus no morning after feeling focus on having a goodtime and not on the fact you can no longer have a drink
