Question: Any ideas on how to throw a Breakfast at Tiffany's themed party for three sixteen year old girls?
Two of my best friends and I decided that we wanted to combine our birthday parties and throw a Breakfast at Tiffany's sweet sixteen. We are only allowed to have about 15 guests and we're throwing it in my friends basement. We are already going to have the movie playing at the party, but we're stumped on other things to do, what to do for decorations, and what to do for food.

Ideas would be greatly appreciated (:

You could all dress like her, she has some simple, iconic outfits that wouldn't be too hard to pull off with all of the black leggings and voluminous hairstyles that are big nowadays. For food.... anything in a champagne flute (you can get cheap plastic ones at a party store) looks fabulous and you can have platters of doughnuts like the one she indulges in at the beginning of the movie. Don't forget the Tiffany's blue! And I've seen those stick-on wall decorations in shapes of chandeliers, and Ikea carries some cute plastic chandeliers in the kids section that are relatively affordable.

I'm looking into starting an event planning business... can you tell? ;D

Do you think girls this young can really appreciate Audrey Hepburn?
