This is not food but I thought A pinata filled with candy is kiddie party fun. chocolate chip cookie icecream sandwiches (make them yourself), make your own ice cream sundaes, jello shots, pb sandwiches with the crust cut off, pizza, french fries, dirt pudding made in a beach pail and shovel for serving.

Dont forget the goodie bags...(if you can remember, that was the best part. and Pin the tail on the Donkey (im old)

Mini sausage rolls. Little triangular sandwiches - with the crusts cut off. With kids fillings like jam or choccy spread

A Themed cake ! Like a clown or princess?!?!?!

Dirt Cake Recipe
Ingredients
1-1/2 to 2 pounds chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos?)
1/4 pound (1 stick) margarine
4 packages instant chocolate pudding (made according to directions)
12 ounces non-dairy whipped topping (like Cool Whip?)
Candy gummy worms

Instructions
Clean a new plastic flower pot (a rectangular window box is perfect) and a gardening shovel or trowel. Crush the cookies in a food processor or place them in a ziplock bag and use a rolling pin. The crumbs will resemble potting soil. Mix crumbs with melted margarine and make a 2-inch crust on the bottom of the flower pot. Combine the pudding and whipped topping, then spread on the crust. Put gummy worms on the pudding and spread the remaining crumbs on top. You can arrange some of the gummy worms so that their heads poke out of the "soil". Refrigerate overnight. Wrap the stems of some artificial flowers with foil and arrange in the pot, then serve the cake using the trowel.

Note:
This recipe can be made non-fat by using skim milk and non-fat cookies. You can omit the margarine, which will make the crust crumbly, like the "top soil".

**Also, I have seen this recipe prepared in a beach bucket and instead of garden tools you could use the plastic shovles that come with them.

- fairy bread
- pastry with sausage in the middle. (cut into small slices/pieces)
- cup cakes
- meringues in the form of frogs or animals
- gummy bears
- party pies and sausage rolls

Basic Crispy Potato Skins
6 Medium potatoes (about 2 lbs.)
1/4 c Butter/margarine, melted
Salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Scrub potatoes and pierce each one several times with a fork. Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until tender. Cut each potato lengthwise into 4 quarters. Scoop potato pulp from skins leaving a 1/8" thick shell. (Save pulp for another recipe.) Brush skins inside and out with melted butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place skins, skin side down, on a baking sheet. Bake about 15 minutes or until crisp. Serve hot. (You can also add cheese and bacon bits and return to oven until cheese melts, about 5 minutes.)

You can make these ahead - Freeze after cooking. When ready to serve, thaw overnight in refrigerator (or quick thaw in microwave), cook at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, sprinkle on cheese and bacon bits and return to oven for 5 minutes or until cheese melts. We loved them! or you could try this

Deviled Eggs with Bacon
6 large or extra-large eggs
4 saltine cracker squares, finely crushed
1 tablespoon onion, finely minced
2 tablespoons celery, very finely diced
1 tablespoon sweet pickle, finely diced
2 tablespoons bacon, finely crumbled
1/2 tsp yellow mustard
1/3 cup mayonnaise
salt and pepper to taste
paprika

Put eggs in one layer in medium saucepan. Cover with cold water and slowly bring to boil. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand 15 minutes. Drain hot water from eggs and cover with cold water to cool. Peel eggs, slice in half lengthwise and separate yolks and whites, placing yolks in medium mixing bowl. Reserve egg whites on plate. Mash egg yolks with fork until well broken up. Add crushed crackers, onion, celery, and bacon to egg yolks, tossing together until well mixed. Stir in mayonnaise and mustard until well mixed. If egg yolk mixture is too dry, add additional mayonnaise or a small amount of cream. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Pipe or spoon egg yolk mixture into egg white halves. Sprinkle lightly with paprika. Serve immediately or refrigerate
