People from Orlando Help....?
I recently moved to Orlando around the Maitland and Winter Park area. I am from a much smaller area in TN. I have been trying to find my way around town but I can't seem to avoid I-4. Are there any good "in-town" or back roads that are fairly convenient? And just to give me some ideas...Tell me your favorite restaurant and/or night life area/bar.

Downtown Winter Park is nice. They have some really good restaurants like Panullos or 310 Park South. If you do a map search for Park Avenue in Winter Park, FL (zip 32792) it will show up. Park Ave. is right off Aloma Ave, right before it turns into Fairbanks. There's also Fiddlers on the Green (http://www.fiddlersgreenorlando.com/)... as a cool Irish Pub. The food is good, and they have live music on the weekends. If you do decide to go to Panullos in downtown Winter Park, ask the waitress to be put on their mailing list. They don't send you any spam, but they do send you a coupon for buy one dinner get one free once a month. I love it!
you go to map quest on the compute and tell where you live and where you want to go it will give you direction. sometime ask if you want to go another way
