Yes. It's a job for a failed Scots footballer who is hardly likely to get a job as a male model. He got done a few years ago when he was paid for advertising Bramley apples and went round the country telling everybody how wonderful they were and how good they were to cook with - TV too - and then they discovered he wasn't using Bramley apples at all - he was nothing more than a con-man with a loud mouth. I'm frankly surprised that anyone ever uses any restaurant with which he's connected - and all this rowlocks (for want of a better word!) about "It's MY reputation at stake" which he loves spouting - well, sorry, I don't fall for it.
Oh, and by the way, I'm sure that some of the answerers should have been well tucked up in bed by the time he comes on if the standard of some of the answers is anything to go by ! ! !

Yep its on now and I think it would be better if he didnt swear so much!!! Its all an act for the camera and I think if it were to be happening in real life, he would have no chefs left in his kitchen!!!
I like it ....its different from the usual cookery programmes
But I have heard that hes not as aggressive in reality .....he hams it up (pardon the pun) for the camera's because that is what people expect of him but i have no doubt that hes fiercely competetive.
Put it this way .........its better to watch than Ready Steady Cook!

I love it when the celebrity (non chef) beats him in the cooking competition, which is pretty much every time i've watched it lol. Make me wander how he managed to get all his michelin(sp) stars and awards if janet street porter and the likes cook better than him every week! He does swear a lot and shout but it's a good show. Only thing I don't like is what hes gonna do to those piglets in his back garden!!!!!$￡!&%

The eel being killed and gutted on last week's show was unbelievable. It just made me think about what happens to all the food i eat. I found it really amazing as i am used to everything being packaged and ready to use. It was def real life stuff!
