Push or pull? mac and cheese?!
Push or pull? mac and cheese?
Why do kraft macroni and cheese box's have a push and pull on thebox, when it doesn't work? When you push all it does is smash the box...youend up pulling back the lid with your finger nails. Who would invent such athing...
Answers:
I always smash it with the handle of the knife I use to cut off the tbsp of butter on the stick.

your question is confusing
i just rip the top open like on cereal box. live and learn
I agree. Most products in a box with this perforated faux opening, the box doesn't work at all. You just end up cutting it with a steak knife and hoping you don't gouge a vein in your thumb while doing it.
It works you just have to use your finger nail. A lot of things use this "low tech" stuff. For example, Cream of Wheat, Potato Buds, Cane Sugar. Those things that I listed need it because you use the product over and over again. Kraft Mac and Cheese doesn't need it because you make the whole box at once. They might say they need it because you are supposed to pour the macaroni noodles slowly into the boiling water, but your still going to have to open up the entire box to get the cheese packet out. Call the 800 number on the box and find out.
heee, I remember when all boxes were like this including cereal! HEY, im not that OLD so shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
That's not even the stupidest thing Kraft does. Have you seen the inside of the cap on a bottle of BBQ sauce? It looks like the bottom of a flip top cap (there is the start of a hole), however, NONE of the bbq bottles have flip top caps. You think they are gradually trying to incorporate the cost of the flip top cap???
I've wondered for years!
we have it in tine with a ring pull on in england.
