If I tip a waiter who kept staring at me thru my meal... how would he view it?
Answers:
depends on how much you tipped him .
5% means you didn't approve one bit
15% means it didn't matter either way
25% means you approved
Seriously bring this kind of behavior to the attention of a manager. Servers walk a fine line between not being attentive enough and being too attentive.
Once when I was doing temp work as a banquet server the high end property that I working at required servers to open and place napkins on the laps of the guests- No f**king way.
You are supposed to tip your waiter. However he takes that is his choice.
he would view it as you saying you noticed him and you might have something special going on
i dunno but it ticks me off..when waiters stare at you while eating. or keep checking on you tooo much.
Oggling reward. If I were you I would have summoned him during the meal and told to to piss the hell off or I'd call the manager, and never given him one red cent for such impertinence.
There are lots of reason why he (waiter)kept staring at you.
1)You should find out the curiosity of the staring.
2)There could be some miss place thing on you which started the problem.
3)You are the girl he wish to have as a girl friend.
4)You were rude to him without realizing it.
5)Your old school mate.
Girl there are lots of non stop reason to it,so which one do you think it's the closest one to your question. After all he's from the service line which he should knows well that he shouldn't do such bad manner of action. So next time you encounter the same problem, please be brave to ask the reason of the staring.I'm sure it'll make your meal a more pleasant one.Enjoy your life.
Probably just as a tip, unless you threw in your telephone #
I would tip him, and then mention to your party about your boyfriend.
For example:
Oh, here you are, sir. Well I'm sorry I have to cut this dinner short. I have to meet my boyfriend, we're going to the movies."
Or if there's a guy at the table with you, call him sweetie or something so the waiter is discouraged to persue something that's not particularly there.
