Question: I am making dinner for two on saturday... would this be an acceptable menu...?

Alaskan salmon cakes served with a rocket salad and a lemon and black pepper dressing, followed by a slow braised lamb shank on a bed of creamed leek mash and baby carrots with a caramelised onion gravy... and to finish, almond wafers with pistachio and maple syrup vanilla pod ice cream.

It is all home made... and we are both 'foodies' by the way...

Any alternative suggestions are most welcome.

Sounds very good, but i could only eat about half that. Hope you like leftovers
