I need help getting 600 wealthy people to a fundraising event in NYC.?
I run a non profit organization that is having a Fundraiser at www.BedNY.com we need to pack the place out at $100 per head. We would like to attract a crowd that will donate more after they see the work we are doing. The charity helps prevent Commercial Sexual Exploitation and Catches Pedophiles while they are on Child Sex Tours in foreign countries. Any ideas? Your absolute BEST bet would be to hire a P.R. person to help you out. They can get tons of people to attend, and likely celebs as well, which would get your organization lots of
publicity. You'll have to put out some money to do this, but the return will be much greater than doing it on your own.

make posters and put em up in rich neighborhoods...hahahahaha
I would go to different business and pass out fliers with their permission and make posters and place around town. Should of had a Liaison Meeting and invite different dignitaries then they could of spread the word about your fundraiser. State on the flier your non-profit. Are you listed as a non profit for the IRS? If not the donations are not tax deducible. Must have your 501(c)(3) letter stating your recognized as a non profit organization.
