What's your reason for smoking cigarettes?!

Question: What's your reason for smoking cigarettes?
For me it helps keep my rage from coming out and killing someone.

But what's your reason? Try to fit in? Anxiety? Stress?

I quit yet again. I smoked due to anxiety and stress. Oh, and due to my three year old monster I mean princess.

Because I enjoy cigarettes and I want to. Don't listen to the self righteous health freaks who think it's their business to tell you how to live your life and don't even address your question; smoking might be a contributing factor to disease but it doesn't directly cause it. Live a healthy life style and you'll live long whether you smoke or not; simple.

I used to smoke b/c of stress.. but I learned that it really didn't help me.. it would temporarily calm me and I really think it was all in my head.. It also was routine, as soon as I got in my car, I felt the urge to light one up.. or when i got bored, same thing.. I decided to quit b/c it wasn't healthy and obviously I don't want to add more reasons to be ill (I think it's hard enough to be healthy in this day and age)..

I started because of an abusive now ex-husband to relieve stress. Now I do it because I'm addicted. Yes, I'm constantly thinking about quitting and what life was like before I smoked.

I don't smoke cigarettes, I vape.
