Can i freeze fruit?!

Question:

Can i freeze fruit?

Hi im makeing pimms next weekend for a garden party do you think i can freeze the fruit as i will be rushed off my feet in the week?

Answers:
You can freeze fresh fruit but it will not stand up well once thawed. The fruit will be mushy once it thaws and rather runny. Perhaps if you placed it in the drink frozen it would work in place of ice and might give the drink a nice flavor, but it definitely will change the nature of the drink. Might be good, but know that it will not be the same as using freshly cut fruit. Who knows - you may invent a new twist on an old drink!

Well yes or buy it already frozen. If you freeze your own put them on a tray so that they don't stick together.

I agree with Diana D!

yes you can

Well, yes you can... But, if you have frozen the fruits, I think we can't say that fruits are fresh...

I've try that... Well, the taste not really changes...

But it will be better if you buy the fruits one day before the garden party...

. . . just love your tv ad (but I thought you were a bloke) just shows you can't tell these days - I suppose drinking Pimms was the giveaway . . .
