I need ideas for an old fashion weiner roast.?!
My daughter will be 10 years old and her birthday is in the winter. I would like to host an old time weiner roast. We did this as kids and always enjoyed it, of course it was 30 years ago and times have changed. We never decorated. Since it will be a birthday party where my daughter's friends will be invited along with family, I want to decorate.
I was thinking I'd have a bonfire and have hay bales to sit on. Maybe, drink from mason jars and use red bandanas for place mats or napkins.
Smores for dessert along with a birthday cake. Please give me your thoughts for cute decor and games.

Sounds liek a good idea.
You could set up lot of toppings to,kind of a weinie roast "bar".
Ketchup, mustard, relish, chopped onions, buns (try two different kinds), chili, salsa, saur kraut, coleslaw and so on.
Have plenty of hot chocolate and cider.
Also baked beans.
Do the same for the smores, have diffferent kind of cookies, brownies, nuts, apple slicies (really good actually), banan slices and so on.
