What food should we serve for our superbowl party?!

Question: What food should we serve for our superbowl party?
We have a party every year and seem to always serve the basics: pizza, hot wings, burgers, hoagies, etc. I would like to change things up, but still stay within the "football party food" category. Any suggestions?

Answers:

Taco bar!

I've done super bowl parties before and every year the menu can change by adding a few new finger foods...it all depends on how much you want to do, but here's some choices (and also trying to vary the flavors on the menu)...
Savory Parmesan Bites...http://www.kraftrecipes.com/recipes/savo…

You might want to substitute one of your other "heartier" items and make up some Slow-Cooker Pulled Pork sandwiches instead:
1 (3 lb.) boneless pork shoulder, skin and excess fat removed
2 tablespoons mustard
1 onion, chopped
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth or water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 cups bottled or homemade barbecue sauce Salt and pepper

directions

Trim pork of any excess fat. Scatter onion over bottom of slow cooker and place pork on top. Add broth, cover and cook on low until very tender, about 8 hours. Remove meat and let cool

When cool enough to handle, pull meat into thin shreds, removing all fat and gristle. Skim excess fat from liquid in slow cooker.
Return pulled pork to slow cooker and stir in barbecue sauce, mustard, honey and soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 1 hour longer on low. If desired, serve with hamburger buns and sides of pinto beans, corn, tomatoes and coleslaw. (Serves about 6)

Mini-Meatloaf Football Meatballs>>>(makes 20, so increase quantity for your party size)

1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
2 tablespoons milk
Freshly ground pepper
1 egg yolk
3/4 pound ground chuck
2 tablespoons ketchup
1/4 cup minced onion
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 3 tablespoons finely chopped celery

directions
Prep: 20 min Total: 45 min

Heat oven to 400 degrees F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Place panko and milk in a large mixing bowl; set aside. In a small bowl, stir together egg yolk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.

Crumble meat into soaked breadcrumbs; add onion, celery and the egg mixture. Mix with hands until the ingredients are well mixed. Shape heaping tablespoons of meat mixture into football-shaped balls and place on lined baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove meatballs from oven. Use a pastry brush to glaze meatballs with chili sauce. Bake 10 minutes more. Remove from oven, place a toothpick in each, and serve.

Make some Bacon-Cheddar Deviled Eggs (hint>>older eggs cook better for peeling...you can add a dash of either red or yellow food coloring for deeper color for filling, can also add a bit of sour cream for smoother texture, and can garnish with slices of green onion)>>>>>>

New Small Potatoes wrapped with Prosciutto>>(potato poppers)...Serve with sour cream sprinkled with chives for dipping....
1?4 cup olive oil
1 1?2 pounds new potatoes (about 20 small potatoes)
1?2 teaspoon garlic powder
20 slices prosciutto
1?2 teaspoon kosher salt
3 sprigs fresh rosemary, leaves only

directions
Prep: 10 min Total: 60 min
Heat the oven to 400°F. Lightly coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic powder, and salt. Add the potatoes, then toss well to coat.

Wrap each potato in a slice of prosciutto. To do so, place the potato at one end of the slice, then roll. Press the prosciutto to wrap it snugly around the potato.
Arrange the potatoes on the prepared baking sheet. Roast for 25 minutes. Sprinkle the potatoes with the rosemary, then bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until a knife easily pierces to the center of the potatoes.

You can serve stuffed mushrooms, bacon wrapped shrimp (I suggest partially cooking the bacon first),

ok get a baking pan put cream cheese on the bottom of the pan like spread it out in the bottom of the pan then add Chilli then salsa then that cheese that comes in a bag its like shredded cheese. So you should have in your pan a layer of cream cheese a layer of Chilli a layer of salsa and a layer of shredded cheese on the very top. then put it in the oven till the cheese melts. and use it as a dip for your corn chips trust me it is the best dip ever.

I have made it its awesome and easy
