Re party ideas, I would make it simple as in Hamburger and Chips as the small ones will eat some chips. Cupcakes or cake for the sweet tooths.
When I was at a baby shower the goody bag were just not handed out, we played games for them like;
DIRTY DIAPER: take diapers and melt different chocolates in them, about 5 or 6 (snickers, mars etc) and when they taste it out of the diaper it will be funny and create a more relaxed environment. Have them secretly write down there answer on there paper, and the winner gets a handbag.
KARAOKE Contest: says it all, and have the people judge.
POKER TOUR.: says it all
GUESS THE WEIGHT: You should have the record of her birth weight, whoever is closest, wins.
TRIVIA about anything: make your own questions about your child.

A tiny terra cotta pot with a seed packet, a tea ball with a small pack of loose tea, tiny picture frame, chocolates, cookies in a baby theme, bubbles, note pads. Obviously not all of these at once, these are just suggestions.
Keep it simple....just get either some sheer fabric netting or small bags, tie a bow...include a thank you like this;
