Question: I'm looking for cheap, easy ideas for decorations for an elementary school spaghetti dinner?
It's in the school's cafeteria so it's long community tables. We can't do candles or food the kids would be tempted to touch, but we really want to set a nice mood for the families. Any sugesstions would be appreciated. Thanks!

They have flameless candles that you could use.

I'd go to the dollar tree and buy fake flowers, flameless candles, plastic vases and put those out. And you could do streamers or balloons.

*SOME ITALIAN MUSIC LIKE FRANK SINATRA
*FAKE CANDLES (THE ONES THAT ARE FLAMELESS)
*BASKETS OF FRUIT
*SOME NICE CREPE PAPER TO HANG UP
*MAKE A NICE WELCOME SIGN
*YOU COULD ALSO GET SOME LONG PAPER/CARDBOARD PIECES & HAVE THE KIDS DECORATE THEM LIKE ITALIAN MURALS

Crepe-paper streamers (places like Party City) are also good.
